Hong Kong

Our stop over in Hong Kong has been great! We had a great, full day yesterday after a good night sleep (after not much sleep at all on the 16 hour plane ride!). We went to Victoria Peak on mainland HK and had great views. Then did a little walking and shopping before heading back across the harbour. We had lunch a great hole in the wall noodle place and it was so much fun to come out of the bathroom to see mom and AA's bright blonde heads standing out like sore thumbs in a sea of dark hair and bodies! AA keeps noting people staring at her...no wonder! Her skin and hair and youth are not commonly seen here. We walked Kwaloon Park and then visited the famous Peninsula Hotel followed by afternoon tea and sweets at our hotel. We had a yummy dinner at NOBU -- a restaurant that AA remembers very well from the first time we came here. She devoured the "crunchy shrimp."

Mom and Annie Allen are both doing so well. They are such good sports and have been so positive about things...the flight was very long and started with an hour and 20 miniute delay sitting on the runway in New York. But we just settled in as best we could and watched a lot of movies.

Tomorrow we go to Vietnam so more from there....
